NYKO 2019 START Recap

2019 is gearing up to be one of the best years in START history! We can’t for all the exciting events and initiatives planned. And above everything, we can’t wait to see the growth each of you will experience this coming year.

We kick-started the New Year with NYKO in Phoenix, AZ! START hosted a Give Back, a Social Hour, activities at the booth and a stage segment in recognition of our 2018 START Top Income Earners. Check out the recap from NYKO 2019 below!

START Give Back at St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance:

On Thursday, January 10th, START hosted a Give Back event at St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance in Phoenix! Approximately 100 START members gathered to give back to the local community. Together, we packed 55,000 pounds of food, which will provide help to hundreds of families in need.

START Social Hour:
Immediately following the Give Back on Thursday, START members were invited to gather for a START Social Hour at The Duce. There, attendees had the opportunity to connect with other START members while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the restaurant. START Social Hours are  a casual, fun way for START members to interact at events! Keep an eye out on the START social media channels, as well as the newsletter for the next opportunity for you to attend one!

START Booth:
This year at the START booth, we launched some of our brand-new resources and asked event attendees to participate in a survey. Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by the booth!

New Resources

START Brochure: Our START brochure helps answer the question “What is START?” The brochure provides an overview of the program, our values and history. We passed out hard copies at the booth, but the brochure is available to download here in 12 different languages.

START Training Slides: We launched our updated START training slides just in time for NYKO! The resource is available for START members to use in Zoom trainings and at-home training presentations. The slides are available in 5 different languages and can be downloaded here.

New START Success Story Available

A new START 1000, and the 4th place winner of the START Leadership Retreat, Cameron Biafore is a force to be reckoned with. Her life changed course when she realized her student loan wouldn’t fund her last year of college. After her 9-to-5 internship ended and her friends graduated, she went traveling to find her purpose, and Isagenix fell into her lap. She says that it was fate because she met her best friends in the START community on day one abroad. They cast a vision, and the rest is history! *Weight loss should not be considered typical. A two-phase 2016 study published by researchers at Skidmore College showed an average weight loss of 24 pounds after 12 weeks. The study evaluated the use of Isagenix products in men and women for weight loss followed by weight maintenance. As part of the weight loss phase, the participants took part in a calorie-controlled regimen of Shake Days and one Cleanse Day per week.
